Admission Guideline
To ensure the safety and well-being of all cats in our care, the following admission requirements are established in accordance with AVS standards. Cats must fulfill the necessary criteria for vaccination, deworming, sterilization, and overall physical health to be eligible for boarding.
1
Vaccination
-
Cats must be vaccinated with a 3-in-1 or 4-in-1 vaccine protecting against Feline parvovirus/panleukopenia virus, Feline calicivirus, and Feline herpesvirus/rhinotracheitis virus.
-
Cats are encouraged to receive annual booster vaccinations, and vaccination must have been completed at least 14 days prior to boarding.
-
A titer test or veterinarian memo is acceptable if vaccination cannot be confirmed.
-
Vaccination records must be submitted before check-in.
2
Deworming
-
Cats must be free of internal and external parasites including fleas, ticks and mites.
-
It is recommended to use Revolution or equivalent 1-3 days before boarding (provide evidence via video or veterinary memo) or provide it at check-in.
3
Sterilization
-
Cats over 6 months of age must be sterilized. Proof of sterilization is required.
-
Currently, we still accept cats who are not sterilized; they will only be arranged in a private glass room. After the two-year Cat Framework Programme, we will only accept cats who are sterilized.
4
Physically in Good Condition
-
Cats must be fit for boarding, showing no signs of communicable disease, extreme aggression, or acute illnesses.
-
Cats must not have been ill, injured, or infected with disease in the past 14 days.
-
They must be clean, with healthy eyes, ears, and coat, and nails clipped.
-
Senior cats may require a veterinarian memo if booster vaccinations are not recommended.
5
Check-in Physical Examination
-
A physical examination will be conducted during check-in to verify that the boarding cat is in good health and free from any signs of infectious diseases, infections, parasites, or other health concerns. If the cat does not pass the examination, we reserve the right to refuse boarding, and the booking fee will not be refunded.
